BEA's Random Thoughts

I love my Savior so desperately that I cannot help but love you too! Embrace the love... understand the difference... eat together at the table of the Lord with fellowship and peace in Christ Jesus Amen!

I Believe in Christ,  as I believe in the sunrise. Not because I can see the sun but because it's light lets me see.

Hellooo! I Believe in God the Father, in His son Jesus Christ & in the Holy Ghost. I believe all this is truth! This proves I am a Christian. Oh not so... Satan believes in God the Creator, in God's Son Jesus Christ & in the presence of the earthly Holy Spirit. Proof of a Christian comes from their works. Our acts speak the truth that our words profess & our hearts believe. God's Grace saves us but our fruit & our works prove who we are or... are not!

The first person to understand that Christ died for his sins was Barabbas. How hard it must have been to watch another man die in your place, when all along you knew it was to be you up there dying on that cross.

Before you can have hope you must have faith. Hope without faith leaves the door open to doubt. But hope through faith is nothing less than waiting & knowing God's Will shall be done. Faith = God's Will & Hope = Patience ~Amen

A Tree Makes the Invisible Visible. You cannot see the wind until it moves through the rusting leaves. Nor did we recognize Jesus as our Savior until He died on a tree. Look to the trees for strengh: for in their boughs... a cross you will always see.

Thy Garden Grows! Blessed is my garden when His rain does fall. Blessed is my life in His reign over all.

Two Ships Set Sail on the soul same wind. One trims her sails against the wind and sets sail on her own. The other trims her sails to catch the wind and believes it blow her home. Amen In memory of Ella Wilcox - 'Tis the set of the sails and not the gales, that tells the way we go.

I do not work my soul to save. That work my Lord has done. But I will work like any slave, for love of God's dear Son. Author Unknown

Jesus brought us to God & to forgiveness. His teachings of the Word are simple, clear & pure. As time passed, the Greeks turned the Word into a philosophy. The Romans turned it into a government. When the Europeans got hold of it they turned it into a culture. Sadly, the United States recieved the Word and turned it into a business." Author Unknown

The Gray Area.  God gave us light, free will & rules. Satan gave us darkness, temptation & sin. Mankind likes to blend the two & live in the the middle: the gray area. Gray is not God's Will. Gray is man's will & excuse to justify his sin. Reality is Light & Dark, there is no gray. You either are - or you are not!

What is Our Core Doctrine?

The death & resurrection did not make Jesus God – It revealed He is God!

You may be wondering what we at Faith of a Child Ministry believe to be His Truth - our truth.
Notice we state "our truth" for we understand that not everyone believes as we do
- they're wrong but still very welcome to join us - not for debate but for true wisdom.

Saved by God's Grace - through the Blood of Jesus Christ

Our Creed at Faith of a Child

We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven & earth; & in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died & was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven sending the gift of His Holy Spirit to earth to dwell until God's work on earth is done. Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty as the Lord and Savior of the all the earth; from thence He shall come again to judge the living & the dead. We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in His believers acting as our guide and comforter, we believe in the teachings of the Old & the New Testaments brought to us through the Holy Spirit inspired and inerrant Word of God, the communion of all the saints, the forgiveness of all sin by way of God's Grace through the death of His Son, Jesus Christ our Savior, we believe in the resurrection of the body, & life everlasting.
Every eye will see and every knee shall bow.
There is no secret rapture of the elect - when He comes again a trump will sound and the elect from all four coners of the world will gather to meet their King. We have been in a tribulation period since our dear Lord rose to heaven. There is a Great Tribulation coming and we believe we are in the last days - the brith pains before that promised time.
At the end of those seven horrible years, know as the Great Tribulation, our Savior will come again.

He is coming again... very, very soon. Are you ready?  He will come as a theif in the night: in a blick of an eye?

We are not legalists but we undersand depth of the Golden Rule. We know that the Holy Word contains scripture that teaches us how to love God with all our body, mind, soul and strength. This scripture is solid and strong in fact it is written in stone - the Holy 10 Commandments of God. We know God is defined by these Laws. We know that sin is defined by and is revealed through a broken Law. To love God is to try over and over again to keep the Law
As we progress, we can see His Glory and Power in our lives.
If you love Jesus Christ with all your mind, body and spirit you can't help but live by His Law. Through His Grace, Faith and Strenght alone we can and will perservere. Christ freed us from "living the Law" to save ourselves. However we are not freed from observing the Law as the Law reveals to us where we are weak. Through this showing of our weakness we can be made strong through our confession and repentance. By observing the Law we walk in Light rather than darkness. Light is knowing God's will and darkness is unkowing and separation from God and His will for us. Christ's death through God's Grace has saved all of mankind: now we need to get the world to hear this message so that His Holy Spirit can open their hearts so they too will believe in Him as Lord, God and Savior.
Christ Himself clearly pronouces that He did not come to abolish the Law He came to fulfill the Law and He did through His sinless life. Soon He will come not to judge sin because sin has been removed. He will come  and judge our works accoring to His Law.
Will we fail in keeping the Law? Yes we all will fail over and over again. We are all filthy, natural sinners but
God's Grace has saved us all and we have been acquitted of our sinfulness. If you truly understand the cost of your Salvation how can you not want to keep the Law?
Are you a good and loving child staying steadfact in His Strength and Love or did you snatch His Mercy and Grace and fade away returing to your lifestyle you had before you were saved?
Perhaps you need to examine yourself against Mark 7:17-23. Amen

Our motto:
Do we shun those who walk a different path?
No, we do not because Jesus did not.
Do we preach damnation & hell if you do not except the Word of God or Jesus Christ as Savior?
No we do not because Jesus did not.
Do we make the hungry pray for forgiveness of their sins before we give them food?
No we do not because Jesus did not.
When we see the person who hates us in pain & needing aid, do we walk away without helping them?
No we do not. We shall say not one harsh word & we will put out our hand in mercy & compassion.
We will fill their needs without conditions & walk away without demands.
Through this act of kindness, we may now have a new friend, rather than an old foe.
That choice is left for them. they too, by our example, may decide to hold no hard feelings against any man. This is the example of a Christ like path.

11 And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples,
"Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"
12 But when he heard it, he said, "Those who are well
have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.

Jesus brought people to Him through love, truth, mercy & compassion. Jesus found the needy, filled their needs & humbly walked away. Jesus is love and brings others to God through love. Jesus brought non-believers to God through social examples of love. Jesus asks for us all to love our *neighbor as ourselves. This action alone, will bring us together in His name. It is very easy to point out others wrongs or preach to others about injustices & throw stones at those who we believe to be doing wrong by us but we pause & pray. What would Jesus do?

We at Faith of a Child endlessly search for the truth for ourselves & speak of these issues only when asked. We do not stand on a soapbox & proselytize. We sit quietly & pray, knowing that our quiet reflection & conversations will enlighten others far better than shouting. Human nature is to walk past loud, aggressive noise. But when we see someone pausing quietly, staring upward toward the sky, you are compelled to also to look up. You look up searching to see what they see. That is why we pause quietly & look to God; so you too will sit with us & share His Good News.

Most of us are seekers from many Christian religious denominations. Christ was a man not a religion. We seek the pure truth. We believe that many of today's churches have slipped away, or have fallen short, from what Jesus had instructed His followers to teach. We are just normal people who come together in fellowship.

We pray together, we study together, we laugh together, we enjoy football, hockey, Wii bowling, food & cooking, some members even take Christian travel tours together. We support each other, we give back to the community in many different ways. Many of our newest Facebook members are from other countries. They bring with them the world & the Glory of God from all parts of the globe. We have no leaders because we have Christ; He is our leader. His teachings and the Holy Word of God is all that His Church was formed on. Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit provides all our fellowhip needs & we want for nothing more. We all try to be humble; wealth & standing is never a consideration. Some are new to Jesus Christ & the Holy Spirit, others have known God & have been filled with the Holy Spirit for years. We try & do as Jesus did when He & His disicples lived.  We walk through life stronger together than we do apart. We are disciples in Jesus. Please come join us.

*neighbor - Anyone physically close, in proximity to you; like the stranger next to you in the store, the people in your life who you personally know & your community.

31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

The Golden or Royal Rule
Master which is the greatest commandment of the law?

Matthew 22:36-40
Jesus said onto them,"Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first of the Great Commandments. And the second is like unto it, thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law & the prophets.

We do not believe religious denominations are in Christ's plan for His church. We hate labels. Christianity is not a religion it is a Person; a relationship between Him and His people. Over the course of these past 1,981 years, the label "Christian" has become vague and even corrupt in some circles. It sickens us to see what the church has become and we have vowed to speak up and make known the Word and the teachings of Christ. We are Christians that try to live & think as Christ. We take God's Word & His Son's ministry literally. His Truth is plain and simple; nothing more or nothing less can be added to it by man. God is Light. Satan is darkness & natural man walks between the two; man walks in the gray area that he created for himself to ease his conscience & stave off responsibility.

The Bible declares that the Christian life is salty. Salt creates thirst, it preserves and it's tiny grain can flavor a thousand times it's size. God's Word is the Living Water
and can quench your thirst forever.

Come break bread with us - eat, drink and praise Him!
